Hello everybody!
If you recognise, the title of this blog post is MAC Cosmetics' slogan. "All Ages, All Races, All Sexes". But I don't often feel that when it comes to (having a passion about) makeup.
A few weeks back, my mum and I have decided to have a look at all the high-end makeup counters, because I'm very new to "high-end makeup shopping", I was, quite, okay, very nervous.
But I know I shouldn't be, shouldn't be nervous.
So I started thinking, why am I so conscious about "high-end makeup shopping"? The idea scares me, like, going to fancy cosmetics places, having a shit load of people watching you, and trying to make you buy everything. These things, are pretty scary, at least to me.
Therefore, the experience was pretty bad.
I was too self-conscious about my age - of 13, or, ONLY 13. I felt like I was too young for high-end makeup.
I ended up having a panic attack, which could possibly be one of the worse things to happen while you're out of the house.
Plus, that was the third/forth time I've ever had a panic attack outdoors, meaning a lack of experience. Not saying that having more experiences is a good thing, but you get the drill.
I believe that things are easier said than done. However, I just can't seem to control my feelings, properly. Oh wait, before you question anything, I'm not mental or anything, just, ya know, anxiety.
Why does " All Ages, All Races, All Sexes" seems so hard to achieve!?
But still, I'll keep pushing myself a lil' bit at a time, 'cause makeup is my hugeee passion!
So, what do you guys think? Please comment your opinions in the comments below! Thank you so much for reading, I'll see you in a few days for another blog post.
