Little Ways To Change Your Life

Hello everybody!

Recently I've been really down.

And I want to change that.

With that being said, I've decided to do a really "positive" kind of blog post to boost myself up. Let's hope it'll work.

I'm imagining this to be, things I'd tell my younger self, almost like "advice from the future me".

1) 99% of the things you worry about isn't going to happen
I've had loads of experience along the lines of this subject... afterwards I always laugh at myself, literally. I have no clue why I worried so much! Maybe there're 109 homework due tomorrow, 459 mock exams, then 931 real exams, but instead of wrecking your brain worrying, try studying, relaxing, and motivating yourself instead. It's funny how you just pick it up day by day, it's almost impossible to learn it without experiences, but, just try to not overthink too much. Yep, people (mostly teachers) tell you that having A BIT of pressure is a good thing, it motivates you to do something. To me, it doesn't work, it will kind of make it worse!

2) Make a routine
This, my friends, is the most important. Making a routine of your everyday lives makes a HUGE difference! I've always been extremely lazy on weekend days, its extreme. I work my butt off from Mon  - Fri, but then do absolutely nothing on weekend days. That's no-good! Try planning something, they don't have to be huge like, going on a road trip or something. Small things that makes you happy will do. For me, it'll most likely be, filming, editing, taking pictures, exercise, and make some cute-looking delicious snacks.

3) Figure out what you're truly interested in
It took no time for me to do that, honestly. 'Cause since forever ago I know for sure that I'm 100% obsessed with all things beauty, fashion, and YouTube related. Fun fact: I applied blue crayon all over my face thinking it was makeup! (When I was little, of course, lol) It might sound like nothing compared to, "Ooo, I want to be a doctor!". But at least I found my passion.

4) Communicate
No matter if you have 1 or 100 friends, talk to them! It's (/it'll be) amazing how you'll find it life changing. This also applies to your family, I used to just keep everything to myself and shushhh. But that didn't feel very good at all!

Hope this blog post had help you a little, if not then... oh well. Thank you so much for reading and I'll see you guys in a few days for another blog post.

Oops, I Did It Again - April Edition

Hello everybody!

Yet again here's another beauty & fashion related post! Today I'm going to be doing a haul. (Make sure you read my very first post before you continue, it'll hopefully help you to understand ThePinkTeaCup more)

I've decided to start a monthly series, it's actually a big thing for me to, admit?! Because starting a monthly series is almost like starting a monthly promise. I'll have to get them posted every month.

Anyway, let's get started!

1) Missguided look-a-like shorts - These are seriously gorgeous, you can dress them up or down. Must-haves for summer! (The Missguided ones are £22, these are £6 from a wholesale shop)

2) Gordano t-shirts - Just some basic "comfy-first" t-shirts.

3) Uniqlo lounge set - The softest pyjamas I've ever owned! Big love for these, especially when they're THAT cute.

4) Maybelline baby skin pore eraser - Best drugstore primer ever, stocked up on my third tube.

5) EOS lip balm in coconut milk - It was actually gift from my cousin. Smells ridiculously nice and quite moisturising, have to admit that this is not the best lip balm ever, but it's still really nice.

This is definitely a photo heavy kind of post, but I still hope you enjoyed! I'll be uploading a "Try-On Haul" video on my YouTube channel this Friday/Saturday, so if you prefer watching rather than reading please feel free to check it out. Once again thank you so much for reading and I'll come back soon with another blog post.

"YOU"TUBE

Hello everybody!

I recently I found out that YouTube, isn't really, so "you" anymore.

Why can't everyone be true to themselves?.

I make YouTube videos, too, but I'm not "famous", or have a huge subscriber count. But, I enjoy making videos, a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot a lot. And the last thing I care about is people not liking my videos, you do you. I don't care, maybe even don't have time to. I'd rather think about how I can produce better quality videos, better content videos, better set-up, better editing, etc.

Hate is everywhere: Hate comments. Hate accounts. Hate videos.

To be fair, YouTubers like, Zoe, Beth, and Ingrid, could be really really stressed. Let alone people hating, 1000 emails waiting for them to reply, sponsorships, and all that deadlines.

But these aren't excuses! No!

Think about it, when you started YouTube, you actually do it for the passion, for the fun. And nowadays (only) some of them got "famous", not so much. They do heaps and heaps of sponsorships JUST for the money, being the total opposite of honest, giving non-true feedbacks about a product, and so on.

Sometimes us viewers need to be almost a bit careful, like people can't trust certain YouTubers, anymore. I understand that they make a living off YouTube, but when you go over the yellow line, things start to turn, just a little bit weird. Bad weird.

So please follow your dreams and don't do just what everybody else is doing. YouTube started out to be a hobby, and I think it should somehow still be one. But what do you guys think? Leave it in the comments below! Thank you so much for reading and I'll be back soon for another blog post.

All Ages, All Races, All Sexes

Hello everybody!

If you recognise, the title of this blog post is MAC Cosmetics' slogan. "All Ages, All Races, All Sexes". But I don't often feel that when it comes to (having a passion about) makeup.

A few weeks back, my mum and I have decided to have a look at all the high-end makeup counters, because I'm very new to "high-end makeup shopping", I was, quite, okay, very nervous.

But I know I shouldn't be, shouldn't be nervous.

So I started thinking, why am I so conscious about "high-end makeup shopping"? The idea scares me, like, going to fancy cosmetics places, having a shit load of people watching you, and trying to make you buy everything. These things, are pretty scary, at least to me.

Therefore, the experience was pretty bad.

I was too self-conscious about my age - of 13, or, ONLY 13. I felt like I was too young for high-end makeup.

I ended up having a panic attack, which could possibly be one of the worse things to happen while you're out of the house.

Plus, that was the third/forth time I've ever had a panic attack outdoors, meaning a lack of experience. Not saying that having more experiences is a good thing, but you get the drill.

I believe that things are easier said than done. However, I just can't seem to control my feelings, properly. Oh wait, before you question anything, I'm not mental or anything, just, ya know, anxiety.

Why does " All Ages, All Races, All Sexes" seems so hard to achieve!?

But still, I'll keep pushing myself a lil' bit at a time, 'cause makeup is my hugeee passion!

So, what do you guys think? Please comment your opinions in the comments below! Thank you so much for reading, I'll see you in a few days for another blog post.

Beautiful Packaged Products

Hello everybody!

Today I'm feeling very "beauty blogger - y", and have decided to do a beauty related post! (If you read my first post you'll know, that ThePinkTeaCup is not categorised as beauty blogs, or any blogs) So, let's see how this turns out, I'm quite nervous, actually.

This, just gets me all the time, beautiful packaging, the death of my wallet! whoopsies! Anyway, here are some of my favourites.

1) Bourjois (Delice de Poudre) Bronzing Powder - aka - My go-to everyday bronzer, it's more orangey toned, so it acts like a blush, too.(?) I usually apply this using my Real Techniques Blush Brush, just all over my cheek area, to achieve a healthy bronzy glow! Perfect for the summer coming up.

2) Benefit Posie Balm - aka - The sheerest tinted lip balm I've ever owned. But, in a good way, it's not overly pigmented, not overly shiny, and not overly scented. This product makes a great handbag touch-up - the packaging is sturdy enough for all the coins floating around!

3) Cargo Suited To A Tea Colour Palette - aka - The pretty on the outside, but not-so-much on the inside product. Yep, you guessed it, the quality of this palette is, pretty crap. Sorry Cargo! But please, next time that you create such a beautiful looking product, please make it gorgeous on the inside, too. By this point you're all probably wondering, why the hell would this be in your "favourites", but the quality is crap? Because... well, this is awkward. It's very photogenic. *sigh* Yes! I know, silly reason, right? I have a blog post dedicated to my "taking pictures and posting them on Instagram" obsession, and you are more than welcome to go and check it out, it's called "Online Craziness!".

4) Tanya Burr Lip Gloss - aka - The £6.99 that beats a £69.99. I can't begin to explain, how gorgeous is this lip gloss! Good job Tanya (and her team)! You guys have created the most loveliest products. It's non-sticky, perfectly shiny, smells like strawberry bubblegum (which is the main part. Lol), and has the best colour range. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!

So...! I guess that's all for today. I'm in no means a beauty expert, or trying to be a one, I just purely want to share with you guys, some of my holy grails! As usual, thank you so much for reading, and I'll see you all soon, with another blog post.

Ps. I had a lovely day today. Realised how letting things out of your chest really helps, any problems can be solved, as long as you reach out for help!

My Glass Slipper Moment

Hello everybody!

Just like Cinderella, everyone has their very own "Glass Slipper Moment", it might be too small for you to notice, but it's there!

This week for me was pretty crap, but, one thing that I did learn, is - A Glass Slipper Moment. Where did I learn that? From the book Girl Online. Referring to the book, a Glass Slipper Moment is something that starts out really bad but end up leading to something really great. Yep, you guessed it, just like the Cinderella story.

So, let me tell you my "mini" version of the GSM (I'm saying mini 'cause in all honesty it wasn't too big of a deal, hee).

Not long ago I found out there was a private hate account made just for me, wow, great.

Did that account bring me down?

It did, actually, by this first... five minutes or so?!

I then posted a screen shot of the account, asking if anybody could inform me what's it all about. Just not long after that my DMs are exploded, full of sweet comments! (And what's that stupid account is all about) I didn't even realise that my followers are so understanding and lovely!

That above was actually the main story that I wanted to tell you, but, I gotta spill the ending too of course. So everybody reported the account and it just stopped posting, woo!

I just want to thank my followers, and my very few but pretty damn kind internet friends.

Sounds silly how people from the Internet that I haven't even met can mean so much to me, and seriously without them, my life would be so much less... good? (gosh I'm bad at explaining)

The point is, without that hate account, I wouldn't have known that I have such lovely followers and internet friends. I am mega thankful for everything and I LOVE YOU!

Have you ever had a Glass Slipper Moment? Feel free to share it with us in the comments below. And as usual, thank you so much for reading.

Online Craziness

Hello everybody!

Are you obsessed with Instagram? Are you obsessed with Twitter? Are you obsessed with YouTube? Are you obsessed with reading blogs? Even if you're not, I still want you to keep reading.

I am defiantly an "internet kid", I'm constantly checking my phone, checking Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube. Maybe from now on that I've started this blog, Blogger, too.

Let's start with Instagrm, boy oh boy I'm obsessed with it. What I basically do on there is, as you guys are probably wondering, taking and of course, posting bright themed pictures. On most Sunday afternoons, I always need to take pictures, just for the purpose of posting them on Instagram. Sounds a bit silly, right? Not for me and fellow "Instagram-ers"! Afterwards, I edit them (if you already know the drill, feel free to skip this paragraph), I often spend ages to edit them pictures and yes, I do feel proud about them, like, how the lighting looks on fleek, how the colours look so vibrant, and so on.

Day by day, I've gained a fair few followers on there, and people are actually noticing my account (or possibly myself) a bit more. And here I go, being totally obsessed with it, obsessed with an app, called Instagram. No, no, no, it's not as bad that I would stay on it for 5 hours a day or not noticing my family or anything, just that I'm really into it, and would really take this as a part of my life.

And there's something more to share, Instagram drama. You know Instagram, it's split a few categories. Pastel/floral (which is the one I'm in), Grunge, inspirational, and loads more. I'm already laughing at this point, something really stupid actually happens, and fairly often, too. Hate accounts - aka the oh so pathetic. People who runs hate accounts are pathetic, truly and fully. I don't understand, like, gurl, you're wasting your time focusing on putting other people down? What in the world would bring you to do that? 1) They're overly obsessed with that one person and turned "love" into "hate". 2) They genuinely hate that one person and are jealous of them. Can't think of anymore reasons...!

I guess that's all for today, so, now that I've told you a little bit more about how I run my Instagram, and some other stuff too, what do you think? Feel free to comment your options below, and thank you so much for reading.

Ps. maybe one day I'll think like my mum and tell myself to get off the internet, but, for now, this moment. I feel there's nothing wrong about it.

Hello Everybody!

I just want to start off by saying, hi! Welcome to ThePinkTeaCup!

There's only one rule on ThePinkTeaCup... and is to not mention my name. As you can see I even removed the "About Me" section. You might know my name and some other information through social medias, BUT definitely not here (even if you know who I am, shhhhh). I just want this blog to be anonymous, it might sound strange, but, I want this blog to be a place where I can fully be myself, relaxed, and not stressed... Also, this blog is NOT categorised. (Only if it's in the category "my silly place to hide"?)

Alright, let's set the scene, shall we? I am, currently eating a chocolate biscuit, having PG Tips in a pink cup from Ikea, and wearing my comfiest pjs. Sounds heavenly, oh yeah it sounds like it.

In reality, no, I didn't tell you how I'm feeling yeah?

I'm feeling, in fact, almost broken. *sigh* Not exactly heavenly.

I get nerves very easily, I get anxious very easily, I have anxiety issues.

I have no clue how it works, it is because I'm, a teenage girl? Is it because I'm, naturally shy? Is it because I, don't get along with most of my schoolmates? I never know.

However, I'm blessed with a fabulous mum, a fabulous dad, and a fabulous family in general. They are all very supportive and nice. *hugs and kisses*

So, now that whoever's reading (if anyone has actually been reading) know a little more about me, I think is time to end today's blog-post. Thank you so much for reading, and let me know what you think in the comments below?

xoxo,
